WRITE POSTCARDS – not long letters – to Democratic leaning voters for the Senate runoff. Boosting turnout will be critical to winning these elections. We have sent out over 550,000 absentee ballot requests to over 395,000 households. We have already gotten over 71,000 Georgian voters that didn’t vote on Nov. 3 to sign up to vote absentee on Jan. 5.
This is the second phase of the campaign for the January 5th Georgia runoff election. Runoff elections in Georgia have had turnouts of only 15-20% and the DeKalb County Democrats have asked us to help turn out the vote.
This postcard campaign targets voters age 39 and older who are inconsistent voters, but who did vote on November 3. We will be thanking them and urging them to vote in the January 5 runoffs.
These will be much easier and much much quicker to do than the letters. Costs much less. And interest in the upcoming election is growing.
