Congresswoman Katherine Clark is a force for change, determined legislator, and advocate for her constituents in Massachusetts’s Fifth Congressional District. Since her first election, Katherine has fought for women, children, and families, ensuring that the issues families talk about around their kitchen tables are on the table in Washington. Her leadership is recognized by her colleagues who elected Katherine as Assistant Speaker, making her the second-highest-ranking woman in leadership and Massachusetts’s highest-ever ranking woman in the House. She and her husband Rodney live in Melrose, Massachusetts with their three children and their rescue dog Bodie.

Bill Scher, contributing writer, Real Clear Politics, Washington Monthly and Politico.
