Winning in November will require a record number of volunteers, effective strategy and close coordination between activist groups in Massachusetts so as to share our strengths and avoid duplication.
A regular schedule of calls to keep us informed, connected and working together is one of the three pillars of the Swing Left Greater Boston strategy, along with the website and the Slack workspace. Swing Left Greater Boston calls include super state strategy briefings, sharing experiences with specific tactics, and invitation-only activist group leaders calls.

Sharing Best Practices in Tactics
The Grassroots Fundraising network is an informal network of non-professional grassroots volunteers fundraising to win back the White House, flip the Senate, hold the House and take back key state legislatures.
The call is also open to volunteers fundraising for voting rights, expanding the electorate and election protection.
Groups Working Together
Coordination between activist groups in Massachusetts involves communicating plans, sharing advice, and finding partners for action. Participation is voluntary, and event organization is the responsibility of the initiating group and any group partners that emerge.
The leaders bulletin is a weekly communication for the leaders of grassroots organizations in Massachusetts and New England. It’s a source of encouragement and support as well as a heads up on leadership calls and opportunities to work together.

Superstate Leader Calls
MA for (ME, PA, WI, NC or FL) calls are for Massachusetts organizers focused on a particular state who currently lead a group of volunteers, lead an action area (phone banking, letter writing, canvassing, voter reg) or lead an activity (phone bank captains, voter reg leads) or are planning to do so in the near future. Calls focus on sharing info and ideas, coordinating and keeping organizers up to date.
Multi-State Coordination Calls are briefing calls led by organizers in the target Super State. They are open to group leaders from neighboring states who are able to provide volunteer resources and support.
